Mission:
The Doug Saylor’s TruePoint Basketball Foundation uses the great game of basketball to find, reach, teach, and serve those less fortunate, underserved, in need of help, and lost waiting to be found, so that they can learn to develop a continuous improvement mindset and live a life of servant leadership.
Mark 9:35 (KJV)—And He sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, if any man
desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
The Board:
The Foundation has seven Board Members that will assist Coach Saylor in all endeavors including, but not limited to:
• Deciding upon the overall course of action to best achieve the mission statement.
• Creating marketing and speaking opportunities to raise funds for the foundation.
• Determining the criteria to identify viable program candidates.
• Deciding upon funding expenditures to achieve the mission statement.
• Attend meetings, virtually or in-person, to fulfill the aforementioned duties, as well as any other relevant decisions necessary to advance the mission of the Foundation
